Workshop:
Improv for Language Teaching
Objective: Participants will practice how to use the Improv technique to develop language confidence and fluency
Audience: Second language teachers at all levels, K-16
Mode: Interactive face-to-face with group activities
Duration: One and two days options
These workshops will cover the theory and practice of language acquisition through Improv. Upon completion you will know how to use Improv to lower the affective filter and build confidence in your students while they increase their aural and oral proficiency skills. You will receive a set of activities and will learn how to develop your own Improv activities to align with your curriculum and themed units.
Workshop:
The 3 x 3 Approach to Teaching Language through Content
Objective: Participants will practice how to develop, deliver and assess content and language for ELLs.
Audience: K-12 teachers in any content area
Mode: Interactive face-to-face
Duration: One and two days options
These workshops will introduce the 3 x 3 approach and it will cover the theory and practice of teaching subject matter to second language learners. Particular focus is given to supporting ELLs in the mainstream classroom, scaffolding instruction for language learners, comprehensible input theory and practice. Upon completion you will understand the challenges ELLs face in your course, have a set of practices and activities ready to use in your class, and be able to develop new ones grounded in solid theory.
Online Course:
The 3 X 3 Approach to Teaching Language through Content
Objective: Participants will practice how to develop, deliver and assess content and language for ELLs.

Duration: 16 hours
These workshops will cover the theory and practice of teaching subject matter to second language learners. Objective: Participants will overcome their anxiety and mental blocks to improve their English-speaking skills using all modes of communication: interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational.
Audience: Managers and Professionals non-native English speakers
Mode: Interactive face-to-face
Duration: One and two days (customizable upon request)
This workshop is designed to empower managers and professionals to take risks, improve oral fluency, and build confidence in English. The workshop’s Improv learning scenarios and role-playing activities enable participants to focus on the tasks rather than agonize about their language performance, leading to a fun, engaging and productive learning experience.

Improv for Customer Service and Customer Care
Objective: Through improvisation, participants will break free from their performance anxiety and improve their English-speaking skills.
Audience: Customer service agents
Mode: Interactive face-to-face
Duration: One and two days (customizable upon request)
This workshop creates an interactive and engaging learning environment, where participants practice critical customer service skills through focused improvisational activities and role play. Participants improve their oral fluency and lower their anxiety and, through realistic scenarios practice all modes of communication: interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational.

Individual coaching and consultations help you address the unique challenges in your classroom. The purpose of these consultations is to provide specific strategies and resources, so you can teach content, apply the necessary literacy skills for language acquisition, increase comprehensible input, and build background into your lessons.
